United Colors of Benetton presents its 2011 Spring Summer Campaign and Collection. Womenswear focuses on four themes: Army Lovers, Classic Genius, Parachute and Pop Night. With Army Lovers, military clothing is softened with feminine touches, fabrics and light colors. With Classic Genius, men’s clothing is the inspiration for creating a comfy casual look. We see oversized trousers, check patterns and denim blues. With Parachute, details are prominent with cargo pockets, padded elements, zippers which go beyond function. Lastly, with Pop Night, retro 80s and Pop Art inspire fluid textiles and a carefree attitude.
On the other hand, Benetton menswear emphasize on four themes as well: Light Age, Military Gym, Summer Colors and Sunday Brunch. With Light Age, we see light colored fabrics, stripes and of course Bermudas to freshen it up. With Military Gym, the guys look like they just came out of the army camp gym with canvas, tracksuits, khakis and jerseys. With Summer Colors, its the casual mix of hues and color schemes which make one comfortable in those warm months. Finally, with Sunday Brunch, stylish yet informal looks reflect blue shades and brighter tones on a weekend or a holiday.
