D&G presented their 2012 Spring Summer Womens Runway Collection during the Milan Fashion Week. This is the finale for the D&G brand by Dolce & Gabbana as it is discontinued in 2011-2012.
Just like the men’s show, the theme of the season and catwalk pieces center on the use of foulard as a fabric element integral to its combinations with different pieces. Twill silk foulards with embroideries and denim applications are dominant in dresses, shirts, pants, skirts, shorts and accessories. The proportions are loose and sensual creating asymmetrical silhouettes with diagonal stitching.
